Interstate 17 to Camp Verde, west on Highway 260 to Cottonwood, north on Highway 89A to mile marker 363. Watch for the LR sign and turn east on Forest Road 89B, go approximately mile to the campsite. GPS coordinates : N34.48.746 W 111.54.179.

Description
One of our most popular rides. This is a beautiful ride with great scenery, water crossings, and elevation changes. Lunch will be by a large pool in Oak Creek. A Red Rocks parking pass is no longer required to park here.

Directions
West of Phoenix on either Hwy 101 or Hwy 303, go west on Olive Ave to the park at: 20304 W. White Tank Mountain Rd, Waddell, AZ 85355. Put that address in your GPS. The camp gate is locked between the hours of 8PM and 6AM so plan your entry accordingly.

Description
Fabulous views and super fun trails in this county park. We have a reserved group site similar to the one at Usery Park. There are ramadas, fire rings, and a bathroom with showers. The park fee is $6 for each day, or $15 for dry camping which includes the entrance fee. We will have people camping earlier in the week so come early if you can.

THE PARK REQUIRES THAT ALL MANURE IS PICKED UP AND HAULED AWAY, NO SCATTERING IS ALLOWED.

In Wickenburg turn right on El Recreo Dr. just west of the Tastee Freeze, go north to Constellation Rd. and continue on Constellation Rd. past the rodeo grounds. At the end of the pavement go 1 mile to the Y in the road. Go left on Blue Tank Wash Road and follow this road about 1.5 miles to the large flat fenced area that's the Sophies Flat trail head. Description
One of our favorite winter camps. The camping area is a designated horse trail head. We will ride some trails that a lot of us have never been on before. The ride will be followed by the fun Christmas potluck dinner and gift exchange. If you wish to participate in the gift exchange please bring a wrapped gift worth at least $10.00. For the potluck, the club will furnish ham and turkey.

Highway 60 east of the valley towards Globe. A few miles past Florence Junction about 1/2 mile past mile marker 221 is the turn to Picket Post Trailhead. It's a well marked sign and road. Follow the road past the windmill and around the corner to the big open clearing on the left. GPS coordinates: N33.16.145, W111.10.919

The Arizona Trail goes through this beautiful area. There are great trails to ride on north and south of the highway.
